What is the maximum number of guests I can invite to my wedding and reception?
150. This leaves ample room for buffet tables, dance floor and parking.
What is your wedding season?
At this time, we offer our property to weddings from May thru September.
Can I come tour the venue before I commit to having my wedding here?
Absolutely! This is a working stable operation, so all tours must be by appointment only. Please contact our Events Manager by email or phone.
How late can my wedding and reception celebrations last until?
Music must end by midnight on Friday and Saturday evenings (10pm on Sunday-Thursday evenings) to comply with sound ordinances and in order to allow for the appropriate cleanup and closure of the site by no later than 1pm.
What are my options for services?
Our team of local Partners includes catering, photography, floral, music and bakery services. This Team works well together and specializes in tailoring their services to your wishes (personal consultation with each is arranged). This is to provide you with a "one-stop-shop" to assist you with preparation for your special day, but you are welcome to these services in an a la carte fashion.
We have an onsite prep area for catering services with running hot and cold water, refrigeration and freezer space.
Is there someone available to assist?
You bet. Included in any wedding or other special event, are the services of our Event Manager. From learning about your plans to making them a reality, our Event Manager is available to you through the planning and organizing as well as onsite before, during and after the celebration.
Are we able to decorate the surroundings?
Oh yes - we encourage it. This is where the fun begins! There are also many vintage and rustic pieces around the property which you may use in your décor.
How does the bar service and alcohol work?
We leave this to you. You'll need a Special Occasions License (SOL) and the applicant/holder must have a valid Serving It Right certificate. These are easy to acquire and relatively inexpensive.
Should I inform my guests of anything specific?
This is a working farm, and the grounds consist of gravel, grass and pavement. That’s the fun part! We just recommend that you inform your guests regarding appropriate footwear. Also, designated areas are assigned for smoking and must be adhered to.
Is there anything extra and unique that you offer?
Oh my goodness yes! The Harris's 1905 heritage home is available for pre-wedding preparations and photography. Oceanside photos are available within walking distance while your guests stay put and enjoy refreshments, lawn games and horses. Speaking of horses, they’re ready and willing to be a part of your event! You may want to take advantage of our 1956 Fargo truck which can be used for making a special entrance, photo ops and/or staging for gift collection, bar supplies, etc.. We also have a fire pit with chairs and blankets for late night gathering and reflection.
